Yet another average action movie on TV tonight (25th April, Channel 5, 9pm). this time it's a fading-fast, pre-comeback Clint Eastwood with Charlie Sheen as his sidekick (and the eponymous rookie)in The Rookie. The plot revolves around a hackneyed buddy-movie format that also involves a car theft ring. The fact that it has Clint and Navy Seal superstar Charlie Sheen in does little for its worth, but having the late Raul Julia in it playing a bad guy called 'Strom' does help.
